Photo Classes
We are offering basic photography classes at the shop. The sessions are 2 hours per week for 3 weeks on each topic. Right now we are planning a Canon Digital and Nikon Digital basic photography class. In the future we want to offer Photoshop and Photoshop Elements classes. If you purchased your digital SLR camera from us, you qualify for a $50 coupon towards the class.
Class Descriptions
Basic Digital Photography for Canon Digital camera $180.00
This course covers the basic concepts of photography as they relate to the Canon Digital cameras.
We will cover in the six hours:
Connecting your camera to the computer with USB.
Downloading your pictures to your computer.
Camera controls on the camera
Camera handling
Exposure with a digital camera
Aperture and its relationship to sharpness
Shutter speeds and how to freeze motion
ISO
There will be homework using your camera to demonstrate the concepts discussed in class.
Basic Digital Photography for Nikon Digital camera $180.00
This course covers the basic concepts of photography as they relate to the Nikon Digital cameras.
We will cover in the six hours:
Connecting your camera to the computer with USB.

Camera handling

Class Schedule
Our next class is for the Nikon Digital Series and starts on August 14th at 6:00 pm. It covers the D40, D40X, D60, and D80 series of DSLR's. If you would like to sign up for the class stop by the shop and pay the fee and pick up your first assignment. If you have questions email Dan or call the shop.
